Seit über einem Jahrzehnt machen die Freunde zusammen Musik - von mitreissenden Hymnen bis hin zu gefühlvollen Balladen verbinden Baba Shrimps gekonnt verschiedene Genres, was sie zu einer der aufregendsten und vielseitigsten Bands ihrer Generation macht.
Ihr Album «III» kletterte 2019 an die Spitze der Schweizer Albumcharts und zementierte eindrucksvoll ihre Stellung in der nationalen Musikszene. Nach einer kreativen Durststrecke und persönlichen Herausforderungen meldete sich das Trio 2024 mit der EP «Best Days» virtuos zurück – ein Befreiungsschlag, der neue Energie und Inspiration freisetzte. Mit der Veröffentlichung der Single «Small Town King» Anfang 2025 gibt die Band bekannt: Das nächste Kapitel ist geschrieben, und Album Nr. 5 «Between Midnight» erscheint endlich in voller Länge.

For over a decade, the three friends have been making music together – from uplifting anthems to heartfelt ballads, Baba Shrimps seamlessly blend various genres, making them one of the most exciting and versatile bands of their generation.
Their album III climbed to the top of the Swiss album charts in 2019, firmly cementing their place in the national music scene. After a creative dry spell and personal challenges, the trio made a brilliant comeback in 2024 with the EP Best Days – a breakthrough that unleashed new energy and inspiration. With the release of the single Small Town King in early 2025, the band made it official: the next chapter has begun, and their long-awaited fifth album Between Midnight is finally here.
